krungaxiess was established by a group of consultants who had spent years working inside large organizations across Thailand and the broader ASEAN region. What they noticed, repeatedly, was that most organizational difficulties — whether around investor relations, internal restructuring, or board-level alignment — had a communication dimension that wasn't being addressed directly.
Rather than offering a broad range of services across every management discipline, the founding team chose focus. Three core service areas were selected because they reflected the challenges most frequently encountered by mid-size and enterprise organizations operating in dynamic market conditions: stakeholder communication, change readiness, and strategic facilitation.
The name krungaxiess reflects that grounding — "Krung" references the ancient Thai name for Bangkok, the city where the practice was founded, and "Axis" speaks to the role we try to play: a stable reference point around which organizational clarity can develop.

Business consulting in Thailand operates in a context that is meaningfully different from Western markets. krungaxiess was built with this in mind. Rather than applying frameworks developed for European or North American organizations, our methodology draws on direct experience working inside Thai and regional businesses over many years. We understand the role of informal networks, the significance of senior sponsorship, and the pace at which change can realistically be absorbed in different types of organizations.
Our three service areas — stakeholder communication, change readiness, and strategy facilitation — were selected because they represent the organizational challenges that most consistently block forward movement. Poor stakeholder communication creates misalignment at critical junctures. Insufficient change readiness leads to adoption failures. And strategy retreats without proper facilitation often produce documents that are filed rather than acted upon.
Each of our services is designed to address these failure modes directly, with deliverables that persist beyond the engagement itself. The goal is not dependency on a consulting relationship, but greater internal capability and clarity as a result of working together.
